Marina del Rey Auto Repair

this place is dishonest. one of their 'full service' guys filled antifreeze coolant in my washer fluid container before my skiing trip. when i used it the window was getting all greasy and i couldn't see the road properly, which put me and my family in danger at the winter driving conditions in the mountains. once i returned the manager refused to make it right and flush my system. he even gave me an attitude. i'm very disappointed and will not return there for service. be aware of this place. Looks like other people are having issues with this place too and i'll report to AAA as well.

These guys are great. The service is fantastic and everyone is very helpful and polite. Nice to find a repair shop that didn't try to sell me a million repairs I didn't need. The guys even loaded my bike in my car when my service was finished.

Rainy stop for gas, right across from the underground Gelson's market. When they're not busy, they come and pump your gas, even if you're getting self-serve. Have also had oil change and thought they did a good job, right on time.

I found myself driving down Lincoln with a flat tire, with everyone honking and yelling as if to tell me what I didn't already know. I pulled into this station and a young man offered to help me with my gas and I showed him my tire he asked me to follow him over to the service area where they were efficient, prompt and all about customer service! It was done in 15 minutes, and cost me $15! What a deal! This station is in my neighborhood and I'd never been there... Now, I won't go anywhere else...the service is so worth it!

This place is pretty sketchy. I took my car there to have a coolant leak repaired and to have my parking brake fixed. They claim to have replaced one of the hoses, but when I checked them out after the car was done, none of them looked new. I can't be certain that they didn't replace it, but I'm skeptical. What I do know is that they broke one of the wheel nut covers on the right rear wheel. GM cars (mine is a Pontiac) have black plastic nut covers over the lug nuts. A good mechanic should know better than to put an impact wrench on them, but that's apparently what this guy did. Not only did he break the nut cover, he tried to cover his tracks by covering it with some kind of black goop. Unfortunately, it worked. I didn't notice until the next day. I had to spend about $15 to buy new nut covers. It wasn't worth the time and confrontation to go back and confront them on it. Now I won't be going back there for anything.

Do Not take your car here! They said that they did work on my car that they did not do!! Avoid this place!

Awful service... I had a battery die along with brake lights that wouldn't shut off. They said the battery was fine and they fixed the lights. Seven days later the battery was dead again...needing replacement on the spot and the lights were still on. When I went in to see why it seemed like I paid for nothing (other than their time...good gig if you can get it), one mechanic never let me finish a sentence without interrupting...which, didn't work. So when the second guy came over, I asked him how I could best work with them so that we actually fixed and caught the problem...he kept saying, we'll take care of you...do more diagnostics...nothing to connect, communicate, listen to my concern, or make me feel like we could work together to fix the problem without incurring significant diagnostic fees while they kept stabbing in the dark to fix the problem. Save your time and money...go somewhere else. anywhere else.

This place will gouge you at every turn. Avoid it at all costs. It would pain me too much to go into detail as to how they screwed me royally, suffice to say I would just steer clear of this place altogether.

Best prices... Even beats Costco a lot of the time. Friendly peeps and good location.

The service here is great. I came a few months ago because the low tire pressure light in my car went off, so I wanted to check the air in my tires and fill them up. One problem though - I didn't know how to do it. So I came here planning on trying to figure it out myself, and I asked one of the guys where the air station was, since it wasn't in a separate spot from the fuel pumps like at other stations (it's actually right at the fuel pumps, on the full service side). Rather than just pointing me to where it was, he told me where to park my car and said he'd check my tires for me and fill them up with air. I'm not sure if he knew I didn't get gas there, but either way, nice guy. Came back here because the light went off again, and I just drove up to the full service pumps to use the air (free, unlike at other stations which charge you $0.75, or only free if you get gas there). A guy came up and asked me how he could help me, and I just told him I wasn't getting gas, but was only going to use the air. The guy offered to do it for me, but this time, i knew how to do it.
