I had my vehicle towed to this auto shop by AAA one night because it was nearby. We had communication issues the next day because I was working during the day, and whenever I attempted to call back the phone would stop ringing and I would hear silence. That day I received a text that they would have my car towed the next morning. I texted back and told them that I would like an inspection, and asked them please not to tow my vehicle. The next morning they called me back at 7:00 am and when I didn’t answer told me they left a voicemail saying that they would tow my car. I called back promptly, and once again, silence on the other end. They called back however and this time I was able to answer. (They insisted the issue was with my phone, but my phone works just fine and I’ve never experienced this issue with anyone else.) When I finally spoke with the manager named Fernando he was extremely rude and made threats about what would happen if they were unable to reach me again. He made me explicitly say twice that I would agree to pay the exorbitant fee that they charge for the inspection, as if he believed I wasn’t good for it, or something of that sort. When I pushed back and questioned him about his atrocious customer service, he told me that they were going to refuse me any type of service whatsoever and that I must pick up my vehicle immediately which I did. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I’m amazed that AAA allowed themselves to be affiliated with these folks. How anyone would ever hire Fernando to manager (someone with the customer service skills that a lump of clay has) I’ll never know.
